I’ve got 3 easy looks on my desk today for you to pull together last minute for New Years Eve. Each of these looks can be purchased in-store NOW and won’t break the bank. If you’re lucky, you may find that you have similar pieces to style like my guide. Use that extra cash for bubbly to ring in 2015! For those of you who are having a low key NYE (that’s me!), I’ve got you covered too!
These are my top 6 must-haves that have helped me through the pregnancy. I use these daily, if not multiple times throughout the day to keep me fresh, happy, and energetic.
On my desk today is my ultimate gift list for your friends, family, and work colleagues! Who’s been naughty or nice? There’s a gift for everyone.
I started to think about what I would wear for my baby shower as my girlfriends have been happily sharing their excitement in planning the day! After thinking about this topic, I decided to talk a more about dressing the bump in general and give a few of my own tips on how I’ve managed this growing belly!
If I can imagine my ideal transition to suburbia / mom / Pinterest / crafting life, this would be it! I pulled my sister, who was in town from Austin, to spend our Saturday doing a bit of DIY. My talented friend Grace Kim hosted this holiday get together in her gorgeous, chic, and new San Francisco place (take a tour here too). As if this invite couldn’t have been better, while we crafted, champagne was passed around and her dream boat boyfriend (Grace’s word I just learned to describe awesome significant others) made Shashuka for us to snack on! See how our first time wreaths turned out….
I know some of you are probably wondering where the heck did this blog come from? Especially because I have all these posts on here yet only shared it for the first time now. Today I launched it, FINALLY- this blog that I’ve been thinking about since the beginning of the year but had yet to complete. All my posts were recently created and back dated because I didn’t want you all to come upon an empty website. I could have done a better job with some of the posts, but I was running out of time since I had procrastinated.
I know, I’m a bit late with announcing that we’re expecting but we are! I have to admit though, I did enjoy these last 5 months reveling in the news privately with my husband. But now… there’s no hiding my bump, especially when wearing a bikini on the beach!
“Do you remember? The 21st night of September?” We do vividly. Today is our anniversary! I swear it was just yesterday I was anxiously awaiting my cue to walk down the aisle to a friend playing, Marry Me by Train on his piano. We have been incredibly thankful to our friends and family for all of their support in making us strive to be better people for each other!
And we’re home!
A little glimpse of some work we’re doing. Now that we’ve closed, received keys, and have come back from SxSW, we’re ready to dive into making this feel more like home.
