WOW. I just realized I never got to show these favorite photos of mine when I visited with Felicity! Ah, it’s been so long since I’ve had time to look back at my blog. I’m having a bittersweet moment now looking through these photos. Felicity, you are one-of-a-kind. You don’t need me to tell you that as it’s clearly written all over you and your epic Instagram (one-of-my-favorites!).
I had put it in draft mode, waiting for her to get back to me with some questions– but of course– life got the best of us and we kept pushing it off. I have a few more of my People photos and interviews I never got to publish… but maybe soon I’ll release more!
Felicity is a writer, maker, lover, and style connoisseur. She’s also a sweet and lively old-soul. I remember the first time I met Felicity at Summit Series. We sat next to each other at dinner and immediately, I was enthralled by your energy and smile. And lucky me– she lived in NYC so we got to hang out a few times more after that dinner.
Now I’m here, in SF (on to my something new) and she’s still there making thunder!!!
Nuts are not allowed in our house. After meeting my husband about 6 years ago, I stopped eating nuts (for the most part) and keeping any products with nuts in the house. It’s too dangerous with his nut allergy to risk it. But all rules are meant to be broken, right? That’s what happened when Jordan Porter introduced me to her Nola Bars. I snuck a box home and kept them hidden from my husband! Keep reading to tour her desk and get her Grain-Free Carrot Cake Muffins recipe too!
Pilates? Yoga? Spinning? Soul-Cylcer (yes, that’s different than spinning they will tell you)? Running? Boxing? Whatever your athletic musings are you’ll need to make sure you’re showing up ready. Continue reading →
Take a tour of our generation’s amazing DIY queen, Ms. Erica Domesek’s desk today. Have you ever wonder what these craft geniuses’ closets looked like? I’ll tell you. There are pens in every color and style (some are the write and sniff kind I bet), custom gold tools to create and snip materials into magic, and a collection of glitter and beads that rival a Dylan’s Candy Store.
My husband introduced me to Sophie while we were in Toronto for Christmas 2013. Sweet Sophie and I hit it off immediately as we both had interests in fashion and startups. Sophie was currently playing around with a really cool project of her own called Insepia: Flash Fashion. While I was in NYC, I wanted to check out what was on her desk! Boy was I blown away. Every morning the comical inn keeper at The Coast Guard Inn, Mia, will greet you with a few “…because I’m a Jewish mother…” jokes. If these jokes don’t amuse you, it’s okay because Mia’s other talent is making you a hot and delicious breakfast.
Introducing my niece, Coco (real name, Chloe, but, of course, I had to make my own nickname for her). Coco is 6 months old. She’s the sweetest and most spirited ham you’ll ever meet. She’s full of life and she has given my husband and me a new hobby- her.
