Palm Springs 2014

On my desk was 100 degree weather and cacti as we went back to Palm Springs to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! We stayed at the same hotel, The Parker, but didn’t do all the same things. To our surprise, there was a lot left in Palm Springs for us to explore even though we did so much last year.

I keep telling our friends they have to make a trip to Palm Springs. It’s such a quaint and chill place to vacation for a weekend. Relatively inexpensive too! Being there is fun because you also feel like you’re blasted into the past with all the mid century architecture and vintage furniture stores.

Our days were split between the pool, vintage shopping, and Joshua Tree National Park. We ate Cheeky’s for the first time and loved it so much we went back a second time the next day! Check out what my husband got me for our anniversary! 🙂

What to pack for Palm Springs:

We’re looking forward to next year’s return trip to Palm Springs! Before we ever went, people told us how special this place was. I’m not sure I can put my finger on explaining why, but it is!

Hope you all will make out there sometime. For those that have been, what’s your favorite part about Palm Springs?
