Tired of the regular American Eggs and Bacon breakfast menu? Here’s my cheat sheet on a quick and easy recipe for sweet and savory crepes that will impress your holiday guests, kids, or loving husband!
How to cheat?
- Buy pre-made All Natural Belgium crepes from Costco market
- Use leftover Caramel Pumpkin Spice sauce from Trader Joe’s (I had bought this for our Thanksgiving apple pie and vanilla ice cream)
- Forget that no-carb or paleo crap. Eat without guilt because it’s the weekend
Sweet crepe recipe
You can make many different varieties of crepes. For this morning, I used apples, blueberries, and strawberries (what was in my fridge) for our Sweet Crepes. I would try bananas or pears next time around!
Savory Crepe recipe
A common savory breakfast crepe is the salmon with creme friache. Right now, I love my wild smoked salmon so my fridge is stocked with it. It’s a great source of healthy protein while I’m pregnant! I love salmon brunches too so if you don’t mind, I’m sharing another quick and easy smoked salmon recipe. 🙂
Please feel free to share some of your crepe recipes for my desk! 🙂
